While we’ve seen a resurgence of ’90s trends for years now, it can sometimes be hard to embrace the staples of that time without seeming too on the nose. However, Hailey Bieber just gave us a lesson in casual turn-of-the-century dressing.

While on the streets of Los Angeles, the Rhode skincare founder wore a striped wool polo shirt from Loewe. The long-sleeved top was composed of thick black stripes contrasted against thinner stripes of white and red. It also featured a fold-down black collar.

Although Bieber loves her baggy pants, the model opted for a pair of straight-leg light-wash jeans for this look, and she completed the fit with crisp white socks and a pair of red soft leather loafers from the Row. To accessorize, the Arizona native threw on a large tan trench coat with wide lapels and button tabs at the cuffs. Meanwhile, she wore a diamond choker from Anita Ko and sported large ribbed golden earrings.

While this was a more casual outfit, we saw Bieber subvert the corporate uniform just a few days ago with a Matrix-style ensemble. Then, the model’s look included a stone-gray corset and matching trousers, which she layered under a black leather blazer with padded shoulders (that perfectly matched her black leather clutch). In a surprise move, she rounded out the look with ivory mesh flats from Christopher Esber.
